Young Raven Visits Feeders

This young raven frequently visits the feeders nestled in the backyard juniper groves. When the sunlight strikes his feathers just right, it radiates an iridescent blue. Ravens have highly glossed plumage showing iridescent greens, blues, and purples. Sometimes the feathers have an oily or wet sheen. Crows also have feathers with iridescent purple and blue, but with less sheen than the raven.
