Spanish Market 2018

The rich Hispanic culture of Northern New Mexico is celebrated at Santa Fe's Annual Spanish Market. The event was sponsored by the Spanish Colonial Arts Society (SCAS) from from 1926 through the mid-1930's, after which it was became a combined event with the Santa Fe Indian Market. In 1965 the SCAS once again sponsored the event, renewing their commitment to support the artistic growth of Hispanic artists native to New Mexico and southern Colorado however it was not until 1972 that the Spanish Market once again became it's own separate event.

Spanish Market attracts both the local community and serious collectors from around the world. It is a colorful festival, featuring traditional art, music, dance performances, demonstrations, pageantry and regional food

The Contemporary Hispanic Market provides statewide Artists an opportunity to show their work and give the casual and serious collector a rare opportunity to meet and visit with some of its most respected Hispanic Artists currently producing art in New Mexico today.
