Thunderhead over Sangre De Cristo Mountains
The New Mexico Monsoon Season brings increased moisture creating dramatic thunderheads over the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This photo was taken from in front of my studio.
According to the National Weather Service, New Mexico and other areas across the Southwest U.S. are affected by the North American Monsoon System every summer, and the “Monsoon Season” is designated as the period lasting from June 15th through September 30th.
