Cedar Waxwing

Dense flocks of Cedar Waxwings occasionally swoop into our berry-laden Oneseed Junipers (Juniperus monosperma).

I captured this Waxwing in the early morning when only the highest branches of the Juniper were in the sunlight. The flock enjoyed a frenzied feeding session and flew off as quickly as they appeared.
