Asiatic Lily and Daylily

A Fujifilm X-T3 and a selection of Fujinon lenses are the exciting addition to my photography arsenal. Going mirrorless has so many advantages. The mirrorless cameras are usually lighter, more compact, faster and better for video. DSLRs may have an advantage of lens selections, but have a disadvantage of being bulker and heavier. The compact, lightweight X-T3 is a dream and healthier for my neck, shoulders and back.

Lilies, including Asiatic and Oriental varieties, are high-reward, low-effort perennials. Lily bulbs are easy to plant and care for and will grow and spread on their own. They bloom early in the summer (May and June). The daylily really is easy to grow, surviving drought, shade, and poor soil. Asiatic and daylilies are great garden additions for attracting butterflies
